What counts as a product?
Each active product published to your online store counts once, however many variants it has. Draft and archived products don't count.
Is there a free plan?
The Development plan is free, with every feature, for development stores, partner test stores, Plus sandbox stores and stores on a Shopify free trial with up to 500 products. Live stores choose a paid plan, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
Why do Shopify Plus stores start at a higher plan?
Plus stores often have smaller catalogs but much higher traffic. Live Plus stores start at the Scale plan ($79/month for up to 10,000 products), however small their catalog, and use the bigger plans for larger catalogs. If a store on a smaller plan moves to Shopify Plus, MegaFilter turns off on its storefront until it changes plans. Plus sandbox stores are free.
What happens if my catalog grows past my plan?
Each plan includes a set number of products in filters and search. We check your catalog every day. If it grows past your plan, we email you and show a notice in the app, and you have 14 days to upgrade. During that time, filters and search include your plan's number of products. If you haven't upgraded after 14 days, MegaFilter turns off on your storefront and your theme's own filters show until you upgrade. Your settings are kept.
Can I choose a plan smaller than my catalog?
No. Choose a plan that covers your active products. If you pick a smaller plan, MegaFilter turns off on your storefront right away, without a grace period, until you choose a plan that fits.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes. Choose yearly to save 20%, or switch back to monthly from the Plans page in the app. Billing goes through Shopify, so changes and refunds follow Shopify's billing rules.
Do you have plans for very large catalogs?
The Enterprise plan covers up to 500,000 products. For larger catalogs, email support@megafilter.app for a custom plan.
